Hollywood romances are not often thought of as being something that will last a long time. On occasion, however, we hear about a romance lasting long enough that it makes us believe in true love again.
That was the case with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, a Hollywood heartthrob who got together with a British film director, Sam Taylor-Johnson. Despite their age difference and other issues they faced, they managed to stick it out and their love has grown.
They met in 2009 when Sam was 42 years old and Aaron was only 18. They knew that they had a special connection but they wanted to wait until the project they were working on was complete before they went headlong into a relationship.
Despite the fact that there was a contrast between them, there were also things that drew them together. For example, Sam, who is now in his late 50s, said that he was captivated by her maturity and intensity. He was willing to look beyond the age difference and Aaron has always defended the love they have.
Recently, they were out and about in London’s Notting Hill and people were talking. One of the things that came up was their age gap but the couple remained unfazed by what was said.
They may have their differences but they continue to be a love story that is well worth considering.
