Retired Man Fulfills His Dream Of Driving A Custom Bumper Car On The Road

It doesn’t matter who we are, where we live or how old we are, we have all had a dream in life. Sometimes, those dreams come and go but at other times, we do what we can to make them a reality.

The problem with dreams is that it is not always the right time to bring them to fruition. Sometimes, we have to wait, and nobody knows this better than Dan HOV.

Dan lives in Pennsylvania and he had to wait until he was retired to bring his dream to reality. Throughout his life, he had shown an extraordinary amount of creativity and his craftsmanship is top-notch, so both of those things came together to make the project well worth waiting for.

He built something that merges a motorcycle, an old Chevy, and a theme park bumper car. In the end, he has something that is like driving an old bumper car but it is a lot more fun.

Car enthusiasts from around the world have been captivated by what he has done. Anybody who sees it is amused, and we are sure that you will appreciate the 35 years of machine shop experience that he put to use in bringing this project to life.

Of course, he had thought about it for quite some time but it wasn’t until he retired that he had the time to take on the project. In order to make it a reality, he used a 1953 Lusty bumper car, which is straight out of the old theme parks.

This 1953 bumper car would not only be realistic looking, it would also be worth taking on the road. In order to make it a reality, however, he had to use the front end of the Chevy to make it legal.

Now, you can sometimes find him driving down the road. It may look like he’s ready to bump into other cars but in actuality, he’s just living his dream.
