We have certainly seen our fair share of talented individuals come across our path. We tend to see them on television or at the movie theater and at times, we may be introduced to them online as well. One of the talented people that I think everyone is familiar with his Elvis Presley. He may have died more than 40 years ago, but his legacy and his music continue to live down until this day. That includes some rather interesting footage that was buried for quite some time.
If you were alive back when Elvis was touring, you realize that life was a little simpler. We didn’t have the Internet and all of the technology that we have today but we still managed to keep up on the latest as far as celebrities were concerned. Elvis Presley was somebody that captivated our attention and it didn’t matter if it was his music or his acting, it was something that most of us paid attention to. We may even have waited until the newest Elvis Presley movie came out so we could go to the theater.
If you are feeling nostalgic at this point for a little bit of the King of rock ‘n roll, then you might be interested in this unique video. It’s a screen test that shows Elvis Presley trying out for a part in a movie. He was performing ‘Blue Suede Shoes’, which is one of his more famous songs.
If you just listen to the music he is playing, you probably think that he is doing a really good job during the audition but if you look a little closer, you will realize that not everything is as it seems. When Elvis went in for the addition, they put a guitar in his hand but it wasn’t a real guitar. In fact, there weren’t even any strings on the guitar so he was just fake playing it. You also notice that he hadn’t dyed his hair black yet, so it was at the very beginning of his career.
