One thing that is timeless in today’s world is music. It seems that it just keeps growing as the world goes on and sometimes, it can even seem to be frozen in time.
There are going to be performances that will put us in mind of the moment it happened, ever time we hear or see it. In addition, those performances may hold special meaning for other reasons.
That is how many people feel about a performance that took place some 2 decades ago at the 2004 Grammy Awards. Two musical powerhouses stood on stage and performed a medley that will never be performed again.
After this took place at the Grammy Awards, there were many who were talking about how great it was. It put together 22 year old Beyonce, who was new on the scene at the time with a well known singer, Prince.
The show only lasted for 5 minutes but they managed to pack in four amazing hits, and the crowd couldn’t get enough. Included in the hits was ‘Purple Rain’, a song that Prince was well known for.
