Plus-Sized Influencer If Furious After Discovering Airplane Aisles Are Too Narrow And She Can’t Get To The Bathroom

When it comes to travel, we all face challenges from time to time. Regardless of who we are or what we’re going through, those challenges can interfere with our enjoyment.

One person who understands this well is a plus-size woman who sometimes travels by airplane. She recently went viral after sharing that she can’t always use the bathroom on board due to the narrow aisles.

Let’s face it — flying is one of the easiest ways to get from one place to another. But when you’re plus-size, the experience can be limiting. That’s why this woman, who is also an online influencer, decided to speak her mind.

The influencer is TikToker Bo Berry, and she spoke candidly to her followers about the difficulties she sometimes faces while flying. She said her biggest challenge, what she called the “number one roadblock”, is navigating the aisles.

A video showed her attempting to walk down the aisle of a United Airlines aircraft. She had to turn sideways just to squeeze through the rows of seats. She shared the clip with her followers, detailing the challenges she encountered.

She captioned the video: “Flying while fat – Lavatory edition.”

She then said: “So, this is an awkward topic, but we’re going to go ahead and get awkward and talk about it. I don’t fit in a standard airplane lavatory at all.

“Forget the difficulty of having to get two seats to fly – accessibility to a bathroom is the number one roadblock for me when it comes to long-distance travel.”

She went on to explain that some wide-body aircraft are equipped with wheelchair-accessible toilets, which can also accommodate larger individuals. Unfortunately, narrow-body planes often lack this accessibility.

She said: “If I’m flying on a narrow-body plane, I can’t use the bathroom and my maximum flight time is about six hours.

“I’ve never had a problem with that before except once I came super close to having an accident on a flight from San Francisco to Chicago.

“There was some bad weather and my plane was rerouted – it tacked on an extra two hours to the flight and things got a little sketchy.”

Millions of people have watched her video since she posted it, and many expressed support and appreciation for her honesty about a difficult topic.

Others, however, weren’t as sympathetic.

You can’t please everyone, and this situation is a clear example of that.
