There has been quite an ongoing debate about airlines, particularly about how they are not well-suited for every passenger. This includes some plus-size passengers, and they have spoken out about not being able to fit in the seats.
One plus-sized model who was very outspoken about the difficulties she faced with airlines is Gracie Bon. She has 9.4 billion Instagram followers and regularly shares posts, typically about her plus-sized issues.
27-year-old Gracie Bon was born in Panama and she claims to have a number of challenges when flying on commercial flights. In one post, she shared a video about her travel experience, posting the video as she was heading for the boarding gate.
After she was seated on the plane, she showed her followers how difficult it was to fit into the seat. She had to use a seatbelt extender that was necessary because of the size of her hips.
She told her followers: “Airplanes should have bigger seats. So today I had a flight, and even if I was flying in first class, I couldn’t fit on the airplane seat. So this is a petition for all the airlines so big girls like me can fly. It’s not my fault to have an a** this big. Please just make them bigger!”
It appears that she has now solved the issue.
Again, she posted the issue on Instagram and said that she now has the space that she needs.
She explained: “Some airlines banned me, so this is how I have to travel every time. I used to buy two or three seats, so I started a campaign requesting bigger seats, and they didn’t like it. Now flying private jet is my only solution.”
She now seems to fit comfortably on a private jet, showing how spacious the interior is and the VIP bathroom. She said: “I’m not sure I’m going to fit in this [toilet], but we’ll see.”
Bon said she ate a ‘perfect, healthy snack’ during the 10-hour flight. It was a chicken wrap, salad, and fruit. She was also able to get a three-hour nap and claim that she ‘slept like a queen.’

Ever since she has allegedly been banned from taking commercial flights, she said that private flights have been the best thing. She then asked if flying private was the solution for big girls like her.
Many came back to say that she had not been banned but rather, she just had to buy a second seat. Another one said that she didn’t have to get the surgeries, so she should be able to fit.
There were also some who were very supportive of her, saying that she looked great and that they were happy she was out having fun.
