Pink Is Releasing 3 Wines From Her Secret Vineyard

If there is something that all many of us enjoy, it is a good glass of wine. For some people, it’s trying dry wine that has a deep red color but for others, it may be a lighter, fruity drink. We may have some at dinner, in the middle of the afternoon on the weekend and we might enjoy a glass before bedtime. It’s something that we consider to be a treat and sometimes, we give ourselves a treat often.

It turns out that Pink also has a passion for wine but it goes beyond having the occasional glass before bedtime. She also enjoys collecting wine and drinking it and now she has stepped out of the studio and is pursuing winemaking as a part-time career. She purchased an organic vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley in 2013 with her husband. They turned her passion for wine into a business venture. She even managed to keep it under wraps until recently when she announced she is officially a winemaker for Two Wolves wine.

“We are lovers of the land, hoping to leave this place better off than how we found it,” she wrote in the caption. “In the spirit of experimentation, much like a child approaches every new task, in the quest for knowledge with all due respect to the past, and with every bit of fire that burns within us, we bring to you Two Wolves Wine.”

Two Wolves, the name of the winery comes from a Cherokee parable about opposing forces of good and evil in each of us. As of November 15, people will be able to purchase a bottle of their Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Secrets out! Meet your maker. If there would’ve been a way to release these wines anonymously, believe me I would’ve tried to find a way to do it, because I really believe these wines can represent and speak for themselves. The love and passion with which they’ve come together reflects in their quality and their soul. I’ve dedicated the better part of the last 10 years of my life (outside of raising children and touring) to my passion- winegrowing and farming organically. We are lovers of the land, hoping to leave this place better off than how we found it. In the spirit of experimentation, much like a child approaches every new task, in the quest for knowledge with all due respect to the past, and with every bit of fire that burns within us, we bring to you Two Wolves Wine. Mother Nature is a beast and she will never be tamed. She can only be accompanied on the adventure that she provides. The moon is in charge. I am her assistant. The rest is dirt beneath your fingernails. Live, love, laugh. Welcome to the adventure. And thanks for joining the tribe. Coming soon….

She does her fair share of work on the 25-acre organic vineyard. She controls the potential bugs, pick scrapes and prunes the vines along with being a winemaker.

She even hopes to stop grapes with her bare feet but then she saw the spiders.

In addition to her love of wine, she hopes to have her wine business handed over to her children so they can follow in her footsteps. Looks like they are already pitching in and helping.

Pink — whose real name is Alecia Moore, is excited about this side of her life and although she kept it secret, she loves that she has shared it.

“I’m excited, and I’m terrified,” she said of revealing her company. “It’s been really fun to have this be my secret because I’ve never had one.”

I’m looking forward to my first glass.
