We don’t always have the opportunity to see everybody’s talent. Sometimes, people choose to keep the talent to themselves or perhaps they only share it with family and friends.
The world is thankful, however, that Peter Hollens did not keep his talent to himself. The singer/songwriter from Oregon started his career when he went to the University of Oregon and became part of an acapella group.
Eventually, Hollens became well-known after he took part in the United States show, ‘The Sing Off’. The acapella group that Hollens was the lead of was a very popular act in the show. They harmonized in a way that was absolutely beautiful.
Hollens didn’t stop with this small beginning. He ended up recording with Sony and Epic Records and he put his own music together in a studio located in his home. He has collaborated with various musicians including Committed, Back Beats, and the Swingle Singlers.
Eventually, Hollens moved to YouTube in 2011 and he gained 2.5 million subscribers and still growing. His YouTube journey has been very successful and it has led to even more fame. The best part is, it also leads us to hear more and more of his music.
