The well-known celebrity was wearing an elegant black gown that had matching opera gloves. With a black clutch in black heels, along with a little bit of sparkle, she looked phenomenal.
In recent years, Pamela Anderson has made the public decision to get rid of makeup and stick with only her natural beauty. When she showed up on the red carpet, however, many said that she was bending, if not breaking her own rule.
Some people were sticking with her, saying that she did have makeup on if you look closely but she still has a natural beauty. There were others who said that there is a difference between wearing makeup and wearing minimal makeup.
Those were the individuals who congratulated her on her decision and for looking so good when she was walking the red carpet. They were inspired by her, saying that she was more beautiful than ever and was growing old gracefully.
When Pamela Anderson spoke to Drew Barrymore last October, she spoke about the decision to get rid of makeup and reconnect with herself. She said: “I wanted to remember who I was. I found I played characters my whole life. I was painfully shy as a kid; even doing Playboy, for instance, was a huge leap of faith for me. I was physically sick doing it, but I didn’t want to be shy anymore.
“I just thought, well, ‘This is what my fantasy of what a model is, or a playmate is, or a rock star’s wife is, or what anything is. I’m going to do it the best,’ and I’ve been playing these characters along the way.
“It just hit me a couple of years ago, and I was just shaking my head, going, ‘Who am I?'”
The star went on to say: “I just started taking it all back, and then started peeking out without makeup, and then I started realizing, ‘Oh, I feel great as me; I don’t want people to think of me as all those cartoon characters I created for protection.'”
At first, the Canadian superstar said that she felt free wearing less makeup, although she admits that it took some time. She thought that people would notice the change but she wanted to send a positive message to everyone out there.
With minimal makeup or with no makeup, she looks beautiful. We are so glad that she is being the person that she really is.
