Parents Are Struggling To Understand The New Teenage Trend Using Hot Glue On Their Faces

There are many trends that take place in some of them are so bizarre that we can even believe that they actually become popular. Typically, younger children will be involved in these trends, especially young girls when it comes to makeup.

Over the years, there have been many makeup trends that are noteworthy. Some of them involve the size or shape of the eyebrows or perhaps the color of lipstick. Social media has added to this, and sometimes they get stranger and stranger.

In Japan, there is a new trend among high school-aged girls and it is taking over on the Internet. The girls are using hot glue to create 3D teardrops and attach them to their faces. It’s something that many adults are calling ridiculous.

Ninosan is a Japanese company that reported on the trend before anyone else. According to the show, teens in secondary school are creating a lock that uses a ‘3D teardrop makeup’ and attaches the tears to the face. Essentially, they use hot glue to make the tears look as if they are rolling down the cheeks.

You start by creating a tear shape on a smooth surface, such as a plastic mat. After it cools and begins to harden, you use eyelash glue to apply it to the skin. You never actually touch the hot glue directly to the skin.

This is popular among teens who like the fact that it makes them look as if they are crying and that delicate look could cause other people to be sympathetic.

According to a Japanese firm that specializes in products sold to students, Japanese girls typically start-up these trends but they don’t last very long. In many cases, they will only last a few weeks.

Hot glue is easy to work with so teens are making the shapes into more than just tears. They also use glitter and makeup to add an interesting look to the trend.

Replying to @🅿️rincesa 🇨🇴 I use hot glue on a metal makeup palette. I add eyeshadow once they are fully hardened and cooled down. Adhere with lash glue #payasa #sandiegomakeupartist #fyp

In some areas, the trend has become so popular that there is no shortage of hot glue. We just have to wait for the trend to slow down before we can get back.

Manufacturers of hot glue are warning people not to attach it to your face. Since it is used for crafting, there may be materials within it that can cause harm to the skin or an allergic reaction.

This may be an unusual trend but thankfully, it will not be around very long.
