Not every statement deserves a response but when Liam Neeson says that he is ‘madly in love’ with you, you need to say something.
That is the situation Pamela Anderson found herself in, and she had something to say about Liam Neeson. It started with him saying that he was ‘madly in love’ with her after filming a movie with her.
The two actors are starring in the upcoming reboot of The Naked Gun. The original movie from 1988 starred Leslie Nielsen, and we can’t wait for the reboot hit the big screen.
Not long after they were working together, Neeson started talking about Anderson and how ‘terrific’ it was to work with her.
Neeson is going to play the role of Drebin Jr, possibly the son of Frank Drebin from the original release. It has not yet been announced what Anderson’s role was going to be in the movie but it’s obvious that the two of them work together in at least a few scenes.
To start with, Liam Neeson said that he was ‘madly in love’ with Pamela Anderson. He went on to say: “She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you.”
He spoke about how Anderson did not have a big ego but rather, she would just come in and ‘do the work’. He said that it was more than being easy to work with her, he thought she was funny and said: “She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
This isn’t something that you can let go and not respond to. Anderson did respond, and gave kudos to Neeson, saying that he brings out the best in you. She also said that he works with you ‘with respect, kindness and depth of experience’.
She recalled times when he would wrap his coat around her when she was cold, referring to him as the ‘perfect gentleman. She added: “It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
Neeson did have some misgivings about being in a comedy. We are familiar with him in action movies but did he have the ability to be funny? Anderson said that it was hard to keep a straight face in scenes when they were together!
It’s nice to know that they got along together and we are sure it will come out nicely in the film.
