Oreo Honors LGBTQ+ Community With A Rainbow Colored Cookie

One of the desserts that is loved by millions of people around the world is a simple chocolate cookie with a creamy center. Of course, I’m talking about the Oreo and it has been a part of many of our afterschool snacks, as well as our enjoyable evening snacks, regardless of whether we are an adult or a little child. Every once in awhile, we hear about a different flavor of Oreo that comes out and it really helps to enhance our appreciation of the simple treat.

Many people are now applauding the newest addition to the Oreo family, not only because it is colorful but because it stands for something at the same time. It’s a rainbow colored Oreo cookie set and stacked on top of each other, and they are very interesting to see. More than likely, you already have an idea of what these cookies represent. Oreo partnered with PFLAG National to build on the #ProudParent platform. As the largest organization for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, and queers, there are sure to be plenty of Oreos consumed when they hit the market.

PFLAG National began when a single mother wanted to support her gay son publicly and now they are a worldwide organization that supports the LGBTQ+ community! There is something you need to do in order to get a package of the special edition cookies for yourself. You have to join the #ProudParent campaign and share a picture of what it means to you.

After you have the picture, you have to share it on Instagram with the hashtag #ProudParent and #Giveaway, along with tagging @OREO so they see it is happening.

The rainbow colors replace the vanilla cream that we have all become accustomed to. The colors include red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink.
