Oldest UK Twins Share Their Secret Of Long Life At Age 102 – Drink Alcohol

There is something that most of us find interesting, even those who find ourselves in a particular situation. I’m talking about twins and regardless of whether they are identical or paternal, they seem to share a lot in their lives. They just seem to have a connection that is seen in so many different ways. For Phyllis Jones and Irene Crump, they have had the opportunity to share those similarities longer than any other twins in the UK.

On November 20, 2018, the sisters celebrated their 102nd birthday. They were born in 2016 and they have lived through a lot in their lives. This includes four monarchs, 20 prime ministers and two world wars. Even though they have lived a life that is full, they both say they don’t feel like they are 102.

“We can’t grasp that we are 102 because we don’t feel it,” Irene explained. “We got no rheumatism, arthritis, I mean, we’re very lucky in that way.”

They live in the same home and they are checked on by their children on a regular basis. Home attendants also look after them as well.

The sisters received a card from Queen Elizabeth when they turned 100 that congratulated them on their birthday.

So what is the secret to living such a long life? These women say it is all in the booze.

“I used to love a drink. I enjoy a drink of anybody. I don’t like one drink, I like two or three. I used to love a Guinness. Every night I had a Guinness,” Irene said.

That isn’t the only thing that has kept them alive for so many years. They also exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet.
