We sometimes hear the statement that ‘not everything is as expected’ and we may see the truthfulness of that statement in many ways. Although it is true that we should never judge a book by its cover, is very difficult not to do so because it is within our nature. When we do judge a book by its cover, however, we limit ourselves as to what we can appreciate about the world around us. There are many amazing things to see and the people within it are absolutely incredible in their talents. At times, that talent may even come from an unexpected source.
There was something that happened on the streets of Melbourne, Australia that may have seemed somewhat unusual to anyone passing by. An older woman has parked herself at a keyboard on the street. Some people were looking as they passed by but others really didn’t take the time to consider the fact that she may have had some talent and was willing to share it. When she started playing the keyboard, however, I’m sure that everybody who took the time to stop and watch was amazed with what she could do.
When it comes to musical instruments, I think the piano is one of the most common. Many people take piano lessons when they are younger and some of them may even stick with it long enough that they can play a song or two. As they get older, however, they may lose the ability to play and they don’t quite keep the talent that they may have built up.
That wasn’t the case with this woman, who started playing the piano when she was about 13 years old. She continued to learn how to play the piano and in this video, you get to see an amazing talent that she has. Everyone who was looking on was not only enthralled by what they were hearing, they couldn’t help but burst into applause when she was done.
