License plates are more than just something that we have on the back of our automobiles, we also have the ability to make them uniquely our own. That is what happened in Nevada recently, and the plate actually went viral.
Unfortunately, after the license plate got over 80,000 likes, it also got the attention of the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. They went back to their guidelines and said that it was not a personalized plate they could continue to allow.
There are a lot of strict rules about license plates in most states, so that if it is offensive or perhaps links to some inappropriate or illegal content, it would be rejected. There are times, however, when it is a matter of opinion.
Social media is a very powerful tool and it is a part of our lives in ways that many of us could have never imagined. This was a clever license plate but unfortunately, it turned into something that got the wrong attention. In the end, it was revoked.
