It’s hard to believe that the arrival of the second half of the fifth season of Yellowstone is about to happen. Even though that is the case, there are many viewers who are vowing they will not be watching the new season.
We all have reasons why we enjoy watching shows and when it comes to Yellowstone, there is a reason why many fans will tune in for one episode after another. Now that the official Instagram account for the Western drama has posted a video teasing the upcoming second half of the fifth season, many people do not agree with the cast.
In order to advertise the upcoming arrival, the Y emblem was used along with bright orange flames. They were alerting fans that ‘the epic return of Yellowstone’ would be arriving in December.
They said: “Save the date: November 10. #YellowstoneTV.”
One of the reasons why so many people tuned in is because of Kevin Cosper. Now that he is being left out of the series, many fans are no longer as big of a fan anymore. Many of them are saying that it just will not be the same without him.
Everything changes and that is the case with Yellowstone as well. Many people feel that having the show without Kevin Costner is just not going to be the same.
Then again, regardless of whether he is on the show or not, there are many people who are thrilled that it is continuing. They just can’t wait for it to come out.
Costner also went on Instagram to make it official. He would not be appearing on Yellowstone.
“Hi, everyone. I just want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on ‘Horizon’ and doing all the things that’s required, and thinking about ‘Yellowstone’ — that beloved series that I love, that I know you love — I just realized that I’m not going to be able to continue season five b or into the future.”
He went on to say: “I love the relationship we’ve been able to develop, and I’ll see you at the movies.”
The actor also did an interview with USA Today. He further stated that it was true.
“Simply with all the questions that were being asked (about ‘Yellowstone’), the longer I thought about that … I just wanted to say that this is a stepping-off point.
“Whatever I’d hoped for maybe was not in the cards. I don’t want to keep saying, ‘Yeah, I hope I can do it.’ That’s drifted to a place that I don’t think is realistic anymore.”
He also said that there was nothing that made him specifically make the video. He just said that the post was to let people know that he was not holding out optimism for returning.
He said: “I just wanted to get that done. I’m not a machine trying to figure this out. But I’m not a person that leaves people high and dry.”
We will miss him, but we look forward to the continuation of such an epic show.
