Many of us watched every episode of Duck Dynasty and we were thrilled when new episodes would be released. Since the show went off the air, we’ve enjoyed watching reruns, but we never thought we’d see new shows again.
A news release came out on Wednesday that gave hope to all fans of Duck Dynasty. According to the release, ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival’ will be on A&E this summer.
It’s almost as if it is following the next generation, as it will feature Willie and Korie Robertson and the family they are growing together.
There will also be other cast members from Duck Dynasty that will make a visit to the show. This includes: Miss Kay, Uncle Si, John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca, and many others.
The news release says, “With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy.”
You can expect to see 20 one-hour episodes over two seasons.
Willie and Korie Robertson released a statement, saying: “Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”
Duck Dynasty had some 11.8 million viewers when it ran for 11 seasons on A&E.
