The Internet has really changed our lives in many ways and one of the ways that it is changed is showing us a world that we don’t often get to see. This includes impromptu performances by famous individuals, something that recently happened at a New York City subway station.
Canadian star Michael Bublé became the focus of attention and a New York City subway station when he was performing along with an acapella group, Naturally 7. He was there in the center of the line, using his golden voice in a way that only he could.
Bublé was there to perform a song from his latest album, ‘Whose Love and You’. Online, it has done quite well but the video of it being performed in a subway station has been viewed almost 6 million times on YouTube.
It isn’t just the fact that the singer was putting his heart into the music, he was backed up by some of the most beautiful harmonies from his singing companions. Their performance is one that is going to be remembered by everyone who saw it that day.
Bublé is no stranger to spontaneous public appearances. This one, however, seems to really get his attention because he said: “That was the coolest thing ever. That is when you know you’ve made it. Singing in the New York subway is something that’s been done for years and years. I feel that it’s the most authentic, organic way to make music. You see some of the greatest musicians in the world come down here and play.”
We are grateful that we got to see him play and here is the video for you to enjoy.
