Every family has its share of drama, and according to reports, the Trump family is no exception. A source claims there has been tension behind the scenes involving Melania Trump and her son in law, Eric Trump, and it all centers around Barron.
Melania and Donald Trump share one son together, Barron Trump, who was born in 2006 and is now 19 years old. Donald Trump also has four other children from previous relationships, including Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany.
According to reports, Melania became upset after Eric publicly repeated something he said Barron told former President Joe Biden during the inauguration back in January. The moment had gone viral earlier in the year when Barron was seen briefly speaking with Biden.
At the time, speculation spread online about what Barron might have said. Nearly a year later, Eric addressed the moment during an interview, claiming he personally asked Barron about it after seeing all the rumors circulate.
Eric said: “Do you remember that whole controversy where [Barron] went up to Biden … and [the media] had all these like lip-reading experts [analyse it], and they’re like, ‘Barron just told Biden to go F himself’?” He explained he later called Barron to ask directly what was said.
He continued: “So one night … I call Barron, I go, ‘Buddy, look, what did you actually say?’ And he goes, you know, like – it was something so polite I almost wouldn’t even get it right – but [something], like, ‘Congratulations and best of luck to you’ – or something like that.”
Eric went on to say it was “something very respectful” and added that Barron “doesn’t have that in him.” He also said: “He’s a nice guy. He’s probably thinking it. He definitely has it up here [motioning to his head], but like, he’s too courteous to actually go out there and say it. Barron’s a really nice kid.”
Despite the positive tone, sources claim Melania was not happy about Barron being discussed publicly at all. One insider said she allegedly told Eric to “shut his mouth” and made it clear she does not want Barron talked about.
The source added: “Melania does not want Barron discussed. Ever.” They also said she was deeply uncomfortable with the comments going viral, adding: “He’s in college. He wants a quiet life. Headlines and memes are the last thing she wants for him.”
