One of the most special days for mothers everywhere is Mother’s Day. It’s a day specifically for them, and even Meghan Markle joined in the joy this year.
Now that Meghan Markle has returned to social media, we’ve had the opportunity to see more of her and the family. She recently shared a joyful moment with her children in a Mother’s Day tribute.
It was a happy occasion for the family, but not long after the post was made, that joy may have been overshadowed. During a recent Saturday Night Live broadcast, the Duke and Duchess were brutally roasted.
Still, Meghan appeared to take things in stride, posting rare pictures with her son and daughter. She also shared an emotional message alongside the images.
She wished her audience a happy Mother’s Day, which fell on May 11 this year. She said: “Cheers to juggling it all with joy!”
Archie and Lilibet were shown hugging and holding onto their mother in the pictures. She wrote: “To these two gems – who still attempt to climb ‘mama mountain,’ smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure.”
She also referred to her children as the “greatest privilege of [her] life.” Clearly, she loves being a mother.
She concluded the post with a lovely sentiment, saying:
“I, too, ‘love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.’”
Just prior to this tribute, Meghan and Prince Harry were the target of a brutal joke on Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update.” Host Colin Jost delivered the line:
“President Trump also announced a new trade deal with the UK that will reopen British markets for American companies.
“All that Britain demands in return is that we keep these two.”
A photo of Harry and Meghan was shown on screen.
#HarryandMeghan have made it to the butt of jokes on #SNL and not a moment too soon 😂
The one slight problem is that the US doesn’t want them either! 😝 #MeghanMarkle #HarryAndMeghanAreLiars #FOHarryAndMeghan pic.twitter.com/iDXHqf06l4— Princess CarParkle 👑 (@unreMARKLEble) May 11, 2025
At least it seems she was able to bounce back.
