For the most part, you will find these tick eggs in a moist, dark area. They are reddish colored and are typically found under stacks of firewood, in a garden bed, or even inside of the home.
The eggs are very small and look almost like balls of jelly. They are found in clusters and if you have ticsk in your area, it’s important to inspect the property to make sure that they are not building up.

Keeping the yard and the inside of the home as clean as possible can also help to prevent these type of infestations. Mow the lawn regularly and keep leaf litter and tall grass from being a problem. If there is a wooded area near your property, put a barrier of gravel or wood chips to separate your lawn.
