Many people with amazing talent tend to shy away from the spotlight because they don’t want people to see them in person. Unfortunately, this has left a lot of talent unknown, but sometimes we get to see someone who has entertained us and we had no idea.
On the show, America’s Got Talent – Fantasy League, someone stepped forward and showed the world what they were capable of doing. Loren Allred was known by millions of people, but nobody really knew who she was.
She opened up to the audience to let people know that she was the voice behind the song, ‘Never Enough’ from The Greatest Showman. It was amazingly successful, and she was there to do the live vocals for the audience.
After performing the platinum-selling track on AGT, everyone in the audience could believe what they were hearing. In reality, it was not the first time that she had been on television, because she was on Britain’s Got Talent previously.
It was actually on the stage of Britain’s Got Talent that Allred revealed who she was. The 32-year-old had been hiding behind the scenes for so long, and after stepping into the spotlight, she gave an incredible performance.
It was after she gave the performance that one of the judges, Amanda Holden, secured her spot in the semi-finals by pressing the Golden Buzzer.
Previously, Allred was on the 2012 series but she was eliminated in the first week. She feels that since she did not share her life story, as did the other contestants, she did not make as much of an impression.
Her journey with The Greatest Showman began two years later. It reached number 88 on the Hot 100 list and number one in the charts in the UK, New Zealand, Ireland, Japan, Australia, and the United States. Entertainment Weekly even ranked it as one of the best songs from movies of the 2010s.
We are so glad that she decided to come forward and give the face behind the music. We look forward to hearing much more from her.
