Look Inside An 1800s Farmhouse Untouched Since The ’40s

Have you ever taken part in a time capsule project? Perhaps it was when you were at school and a lot of your friends put aside something special and locked it away, only to be opened after a specific amount of time has passed. We often see these types of time capsule projects when we reach a milestone, such as the turn-of-the-century or more recently, the turn of the millennium. The things that we put in the time castle may not seem all that unusual but when it is opened decades from then, it is sure to surprise everyone.

At times, time capsules are well-planned and everything goes together exactly as expected. There are also other times, however, when the time capsule may not go together as planned and it may just happen naturally. That is sometimes the case when somebody abandons a piece of property or another item and it goes untouched for years or perhaps even for many decades. Although time passes on the outside, it seems as if it stands still on the inside and when we have the opportunity to see it, it’s absolutely amazing to view.

Sometimes, a time capsule can be very small but at other times, it may be as big as a house. That is the case with this old farmhouse that was built in the 1800s. Although there are many farm houses around that have been built at least that long ago, this particular one is surprising because there is so much history on the inside. In fact, the inside of the house hasn’t been touched for decades, so when it was opened, it really told something about the era when people lived in it.

The eccentric brother and sister who owned the old farmhouse passed away and in doing so, it opened the opportunity for people to see what is on the inside. If you would like the chance to see such a beautiful and living time capsule, it is right here in this video:
