Lisa Marie Presley Still Struggling With Grief 2 Years After Son Dies

There are many things that we have to go through in life that are difficult to handle. Perhaps the thing that is more difficult than anything else, however, is losing someone we love and death.

We don’t often think about it happening to everyone but in reality, there is nobody who isn’t touched by this particular problem. That includes celebrities, such as Lisa Marie Presley.

Presley lost her son about two years ago after he committed suicide. It is been a very difficult time for her and her family but she recently spoke about how she was struggling from day-to-day.

She posted on Instagram, saying hello to her followers and then saying: “I haven’t posted in quite some time because there really isn’t much to say, as I am and will forever be mourning the loss of my son. Navigating through this hideous grief that absolutely destroyed and shattered my heart and my soul into almost nothing has swallowed me whole.”

We all have to deal with grief in different ways and for Presley, it seems to be something that she is having a very difficult time getting over. After sharing that information, she wanted to share a long message about a film dealing with Elvis that is coming out soon.

She said: “Not much else aside from my other 3 children gets my time and attention anymore. However, that being said, I do want to take a moment to let you know that I have seen Baz Luhrmann’s movie “Elvis” twice now, and let me tell you that it is nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely exquisite. Austin Butler channeled and embodied my father’s heart and soul beautifully.”

Although there have been many people who have impersonated her father over the years, she feels that he does it better than anyone else. The only thing she regrets is the fact that her son isn’t there to see it for himself.

Benjamin Keough was only 27 years old when he took his own life with a shotgun. Lisa Marie is understandably upset and heartbroken over the situation. It’s likely that she will feel that way for a long time.
