Lightning Strikes Perfectly During Metallica Master Of Puppets Performance

Ever since Metallica got their start, they have been known for playing some of the heaviest rock music out there. They were one of the bands that paved the way for heavy metal, and they are still able to rock out today.

If you haven’t seen or heard Metallica in a while, then you really owe it to yourself to check out the video we have for you below. It shows them putting on a performance in a torrential downpour at the ‘Master of Puppets’ tour.

This particular event was taking place on May 24, 2024, in Munich, Germany. The amount of water that was falling from the sky is absolutely amazing, and just the fact that they are standing out in the soaking rain to please the audience is beyond belief.

When you add on top of it the fact that there was a thunderstorm going on in the background, it really sets up the stage for an epic show that goes beyond what heavy metal was able to bring on its own. In fact, as they were playing, a lightning strike occurred in the background and it was almost as if it was timed perfectly.

The frontman for the man, James Hetfield was doing his part to keep the band playing that day. Despite the fact that he was 60 years old, he sounded just as good as if he was young again. If you really stop to think about the punishment he has put on his voice over the years, it’s amazing to think that he has continued up until this time.

Quite honestly, the entire video we have for you below is worth watching because it shows the band, and any lover of heavy metal and Metallica is going to appreciate what they did that day. At about 18 seconds into the video, however, the lightning strikes and it sets the stage for an epic performance.
