One thing we love about Lady Gaga is that she’s game. She will do nearly anything and do it brilliantly. Recently, she decided to take over the “Late Late Show” from host James Corden. In the video below, when the emcee says, “Ladies and gentlemen, the one, the only James Corden!”, Lady Gaga comes out from behind the big purple curtains. When the crowd sees her, they go wild, to the point where Gaga has to tell them to pipe down. She then goes into the routine and acts like it’s her show. She says, “You may all know me as Lady Gaga, but tonight, I’m Lady Haha.” The crowd laughs gamely.
Then Gaga tells an actually funny joke about the U.S. president and his fans, saying that Mr. Trump is going to live-stream his rallies on Facebook and that the programming is going to really “grab people by the —-“. She added that instead of the audience having “little monsters” (the nickname she gave to her fans), Trump’s audience would be “actual monsters.” Ouch. The audience thought that the joke was hysterical. After that crazy bunch of political jokes, James Corden comes out from behind the curtain with his pants off. He begins to berate the diva for coming out and taking over his show, and adds, “that would be like me coming out and trying to sing one of your songs. I mean, I could…brilliantly.”
Corden continues to protest and says, “People love my monologue and they look forward to it all day.” Gaga says, “That’s not what they say on Twitter, though.” James demands to know who said bad things about him on Twitter, pretending to be outraged, which I’m sure he’s not in actuality. Then he orders her off to the stage and his audience begins to boo him. After getting booed by his audience, Corden changes his mind and asks Lady Gaga if she’d like to stay and hang out with the band.
She replies, “I’d LOVE to!” and Lady Gaga rocks with the band throughout the entire show, singing the theme song and other numbers. Watch this epic video below. Seriously, is there anything this lady can’t do?
