When you think about the Kardashians, you often consider the fact that they are looking for attention. Ever since they first became famous, they have been some of the foremost in grabbing attention from social media.
Apparently, the attention that the Kardashians love does not extend to their children. This is being seen after Kourtney Kardashian speaks out about her son, Mason, and the rumors that the 15-year-old has a child.
Kourtney Kardashian is talking about the ‘lies’ that are circulating about her oldest son, Mason. They are also referring to fake accounts that are ‘pretending to be him’. This has produced rumors that the 15-year-old has fathered a child.
On March 2, Kardashian went on her Instagram to post a story, even though she ‘rarely address[ing] rumors or conspiracies.’
She wrote: “I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not.
“Mason does not have a child.
“These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.
“My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: his is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.
“And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
Kardashian is mother to Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10, with Disick and then 15-month-old son Rocky Barker with her husband Travis Barker.
The rumors got started when Khloe Kardashian and Disick were speaking on her podcast about Mason and the girls. That podcast aired on January 8, in which he said: “Mason especially, if he’s going through something, you know, I talk to him about my life. Like mistakes that I did. Like here’s what I’ve done and what’s worked for me, what hasn’t worked for me.
“Even recently, he’s starting to really like girls. And obviously, girls like him. I just said, ‘You know it’s like, you can do whatever you want, just don’t lie and don’t manipulate any girls.’
“If a girl tells you she wants to maybe do something with you and hook up or whatever, if she knows that you’re not in a relationship with her, don’t tell her you are just to get something out of her. And he’s like, ‘No, I know, I get it.’
“So I said, ‘Listen, you can do whatever you want as long as you’re honest.’ And honesty’s the best policy but back in our day, it wasn’t so easy.”
