We have heard a lot about the royal family in recent months but we haven’t heard a lot from them. This is especially true of Kate Middleton, who has kept a relatively low profile since she announced her cancer diagnosis.
The Princess of Wales announced that diagnosis on March 22 and since that time, she has been spending the majority of time at her country house, trying to get in as much time as possible with the family. It has been a challenge, but she has not been alone.
One of the things that Kate Middleton has been able to count on through this ordeal is her relationship with King Charles. He visited her at the London clinic recently, even before the announcement video was made. They also shared lunch shortly before the video at Windsor Castle.
Since both King Charles and Kate Middleton are going through cancer treatments at the same time, it seems as if the bonding would be obvious. King Charles, who only became king in May of last year announced in February that he had cancer. It was six months later that Kate Middleton would announce it.
Many people have watched the video of Kate announcing her cancer diagnosis, and that also includes Judi James. She is a body language expert and she highlighted some of the things that she noticed from Kate’s video.
Despite the fact that she was going through a difficult time, she showed a lot of courage, strength, and even a slight sense of humor. One of the royal biographers also praised the video, saying that it was poised, sincere, and dignified.
It isn’t just now that Kate Middleton and King Charles have developed a bond. He considers her to be as close to him as a daughter. Now that they have the same health battles, they draw comfort from one another and share support during a difficult time.
King Charles even expressed pride in how courageous Kate Middleton was and revealed that he has been in constant contact with her recently. Less than 24 hours before the video was released, they had shared a lunch at Windsor Castle.
We all need family to lean on and we are thankful that these two have each other. It’s a beautiful thing to see it in action.
