A few months ago, I watched a video of a crazy “Karen” going nuts in a California Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) demanding some chicken and mashed potatoes. The people there wouldn’t serve her because she wasn’t wearing a mask. She jumped up on the counter and demanded food, saying she was hungry. I turned to my husband and said, “Is it crazy that this has made me want some KFC???” He said, “Me too!” and he went and got us some chicken and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. Well, now I’ve read something that’s made me want KFC again. The company has brought back its fireplace log.
The company’s super-popular fireplace log burns in your wood stove or fireplace and smells just like their famous and delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken. This is the third year they’ve offered the log and it’s popular, to say the least. Even better, it leaves your home smelling like their traditional recipe chicken. In fact, it’s called the KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog and you can get it at Walmart for only $15.88. Not only does it smell like chicken, but it’s designed to “feel as warm as an Extra Crispy drumstick at the bottom of a KFC bucket of fried chicken.” If that doesn’t make you hungry, you’re a stronger person than I am.

The log is made by a company called Enviro-Log and it’s made of 100% recycled materials, which also warms our hearts. That makes it less wasteful than wood firelogs or other firelogs. The logs can burn for up to three hours, so you’ll have a long night or cozy afternoon of warmth and good smelling chicken. You might as well go ahead and plan a trip to KFC before you even light your log because you’re going to be wanting it, I imagine.

Also good to know is that it can be stored for a long time, because there’s no specific shelf life. In other words, it’s not really chicken, so it’s not going to spoil. Sounds good to me! Watch the video below for more info.
