We often tend to be skeptical when we hear about celebrities getting married. It seems as if they are divorced as quickly as they can be, and we admit that there is a lot of pressure associated with being married in the public eye.
There are times, however, when a couple may break the bonds and go for the long term with their relationship. This is certainly the case with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, who met in 1987 on the set of the film, Lemon Sky.
Bacon was already a popular individual thanks to the movie, Footloose. The initial meeting was enough to start a connection that would eventually lead to an engagement and marriage.
They were married in 1988 and since that time, they have been living the best life possible. They may have had their ups and downs over the years, as all of us have, but their love continues to blossom and they even have children, Travis and Sosi.
Bacon remembers how much he was attracted to his future wife the first time he met her. He was ‘knocked out’ by being around her and she felt something as well. She knew he was her life partner because she said it felt like home.
Not only are they doing well in their personal life, they have done well in their life as actors as well. It is the professionalism that really allows them to do well on the silver screen but they continue to do things together as well.
Now that 35 years have come around, they are honoring each other on social media with some anniversary posts. It is simply amazing to see.
