Kelly Osbourne Talks About The Time Her Brother Shot Her And She Almost Died

It’s always interesting when you hear the back story of any family, especially when it is a family as famous as the Osbournes. Recently, Kelly Osborne opened up about an incident from her past on The Osbournes Podcast.

She spoke about the time that her brother Jack accidentally shot her with a pellet gun. She claims that it almost took her life, and it was traumatic to her.

During the episode on April 23, 39-year-old Kelly confronted her 38-year-old brother about the time he shot her with a pellet gun. It was part of the family conversation that took place and included both Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.

Kelly said: “You shot me… And I almost died.”

Sharon jumped in to say that the weapon was a pellet gun but Kelly said that it was a severe wound. In speaking about the time that the pellet went through her leg, she said: “Mum, it went straight through my leg and out the other side.”

Jack said that there was a danger with shooting pellet guns, saying that they may not be full-blown guns but they can still cause harm.

Kelly spoke about the pain that he caused, saying that it was similar to ‘someone putting a hot poker through my leg really fast.’

At this point, Ozzie jumped in to ask more about the pain and Kelly described the burning feeling she had when she was injured.

It wasn’t just the fact that she was shot in the leg, the medical treatment was a painful experience as well. It was in the 90s in a small hospital in England and the x-ray machine was not working.

In order to determine if part of the pellet remained in her leg, they used a long Q-tip dipped in iodine and probed the wound.

That sounds painful to me.

It was a serious issue but both Jack and Kelly said that it was an accident. They describe what led up to it, saying that Ozzie was not home because of work and Jack was using the air rifle. He said Kelly moved unexpectedly in front of him.

The situation was serious but the siblings were joking about it in the long run. They said that their actions were innocent but Ozzy decided to steer the conversation toward a more positive topic.
