Those people filled the comment section on social media with name-calling and body shaming. When they saw him shirtless, they referred to him as being ‘flabby and weak’ but not everybody had the same opinion. In fact, his loyal fans were there to stand up for him.
It all started when Keanu was on vacation in Italy with his sister, Kim Reeves. He was off the island of Capri, enjoying the sea and the sun and he was dressed for the occasion. Along with his full beard and khaki swim trunks, he was relaxed without a shirt and took a swim in the Mediterranean.
It wasn’t long before the pictures began filling the Internet to show how he was enjoying his time with his sister. Fans enjoy getting a glimpse of him while he was having the time of his life.
Unfortunately, the 58-year-old actor is not above having some people make fun of him. Despite the fact that he does what is necessary to keep in shape, trolls were calling him flabby and weak and told him to go to the gym and get a haircut. One even said ‘gone chubby now’ and another said he looked better with his shirt on.
Fortunately, there were fans there to support him and they flooded social media with praise. They were doing more than saying how talented he was as an actor, they were praising his personality as well.
Society tends to put unrealistic standards on all of us. With fans coming to his defense and saying that he looked fantastic, and was able to shut those who were giving negative comments down.
