Someone who was in the news recently on many occasions was Kamala Harris. She is back in the news again, after being spotted in public with her husband.
The former VP, Kamala Harris, and her husband Doug Emhoff were seen at a grocery store in Westwood, California. It has been a few months since Harris gave him a shout-out during the Democratic National Convention in August.
Going out for groceries that day meant a casual outing and they were dressed for it. It seemed as if they were relaxed as they were walking around the grocery store looking for things to put in the cart.
She was dressed in a denim button-up shirt with a baseball cap and black pants. Gold hoop earrings and a necklace added some elegance to the look. He was also in a relaxed style wearing a dark polo shirt and khaki pants.
Harris was smiling big when she was walking through the store, almost as if she was enjoying getting back to civilian life again. Her husband even waved to the onlookers at one point.
They were seen carrying plastic bags as they exited the store. It wasn’t long before photos and videos of their outing were circulating online and social media picked up on an interesting point.
Something that seemed to be noticed by most people was the connection that husband and wife seemed to have with each other. Many were calling it a real marriage and saying that they look so natural and relatable.
One person said that they loved how her husband waved at the public when there was a video being taken. Perhaps they didn’t know that the cameras would be there for their outing.
Above all, it was a glimpse into their day-to-day lives and some people even said that they enjoyed it because that is the way she shopped with her husband as well.
Even during the time that she was in the public eye, she would often refer to her husband and thank him for being a good partner to her. That was a special moment that also took place at the Democratic National Conference in August.
She said: “Ok, let’s get to business, let’s get to business! Alright. o, let me start by thanking my most incredible husband, Doug, for being an incredible partner to me, an incredible father to Cole and Ella, and happy anniversary, Dougie. I love you so very much.”
She seemed to mean it, because the two of them were enjoying their time in the grocery store.
It’s nice to see a couple that not only get along together, they truly enjoy each other’s company. We hope that they have many more years of happiness together.
