There have been many songs covered over the years, but at times, one particular song seems to get the most attention. One of those is a song by the rock band Queen, and it is one that you have probably heard many times.
I think that most of us could admit that we have played air guitar and danced around the room while listening to Bohemian Rhapsody. Even if you don’t admit it, you might still know it to be true.
That song, Bohemian Rhapsody, has been covered by countless artists in many different ways. From parody songs to beautiful operatic music, it is a Queen classic that continues to get better every time we hear it.
Back in 2012, a man named Josh Stafford was earning his Master of Music degree from the Yale School of Music. In 2020, he took his musical abilities to viral fame as he covered that classic and gained millions of views on YouTube.
It wasn’t just the fact that he was performing Bohemian Rhapsody for a crowd. Since 1975, it has been covered many times in various ways. His version, however, was truly unique.
Stafford sat at the world’s largest pipe organ, which holds the record in the Guinness World Records. He traveled to Atlantic City at Boardwalk Hall to play the organ, which has 33,112 pipes.
As he sat there and played the Queen classic, we can’t help but be amazed by the sound coming from the pipes. Quite honestly, you have to hear it for yourself to believe it.
