Jon Bon Jovi Caught On Video Saving A Woman About To Jump Off Of A Bridge

You never know what is going to happen from one day to the next. In some cases, you may wake up and the day is perfectly normal but on others, you could become a legendary hero.

The opportunity to become a hero doesn’t come along every day but it came along recently for Jon Bon Jovi. After footage of what he did on a Nashville bridge began circulating, he was praised as a hero.

The 62-year-old rock music legend was seen standing alongside a woman and they were talking to another woman, who had climbed over the railing of the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville. They were trying to persuade her to come back and not jump to her death.

The CCTV footage of what took place was shared by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department on their social media account. It seems as if the singer was filming a music video on the bridge, but the bridge remained open.

Bon Jovi can be seen walking over to the woman and starting to talk to her. There was another woman beside him. The potential jumper turned to talk to Bon Jovi, and then they helped her back over the railing to safety.

Before they walked down the bridge together, he gave her a hug.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department paid tribute to the musician, writing on X: “A shout out to @jonbonjovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night.

“Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.”

Chief John Drake added: “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe.”

Fans of the singer came online to express their appreciation for what Bon Jovi did that day. We may not all have the opportunity to do this, but when we do have the opportunity, he showed us how it is done.
