Jon Batiste Delivers The ‘Best Rendition’ Of The National Anthem At Super Bowl LIX

Many people say that Super Bowl LIX is not necessarily one for the record books. When the Eagles and the Chiefs faced off, it was highly anticipated but it was not as exciting as it could be.

One thing that many people are saying was well worth tuning in to see happened before the game actually got started. The kickoff was set for 6:30 PM local time, and it started with the performance of the national anthem.

Five-time Grammy winner Jon Batiste was on the field at Caesar’s Superdome before the coin toss to perform that song. As a singer and songwriter, he is known for his music and now, he will always be known for the national anthem.

In fact, many viewers are saying that they just heard the ‘best rendition of the national anthem’ that was ever sung before. People flooded social media to comment on the performance, saying it was the best they had heard.

Before Batiste’s performance of the National Anthem, a jazz infused Star-Spangled Banner occurred, thanks to Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle. It certainly did show the spirit of New Orleans and set things up for a great National Anthem.

Super Bowl Sunday is not just about football. It has grown into something much larger, and many people look to the stands as much as they look to the field.

For example, this was the first time in history that the Super Bowl was attended by a United States president. Taylor Swift was also in attendance and watching from the stands as her boyfriend did his best.

The halftime show is also something that has become a tradition and Kendrick Lamar did not disappoint. In fact, he even threw in a surprise or two that was well worth watching.

With so much epic music taking place at the Super Bowl, perhaps it may just need to be renamed.
