Joker 2 Release Cause ‘Mass Walkouts’ And People Are Demanding Refunds

When a film is released, there is often a lot of fanfare that goes along with it. Sometimes, the movie does well but there are also times when it can seriously bomb at the box office.

One film that was looked forward to by Batman fans around the world was Joker 2. When it was released, audiences were very divided on their feelings about it, but many were saying it was horrible.

Even Rotten Tomatoes rated the film at 59%, which is low on the scale. That is true, despite the fact that it earned an 11-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival, at least according to inside reports.

Joaquin Phoenix came back to play his role as Joker again, one that he did well in the 2019 movie. The movie even did well at the Oscars. In Joker 2, however, Lady Gaga was cast as Harley Quinn.

According to the plot synopsis: Folie à Deux locates “Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) institutionalised at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker.

“While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.”

Since the film was released, Rotten Tomatoes has dropped it to a 33% score. It is reported that the movie is now seeing mass walkouts, but primarily because people were unaware of the fact that the movie is a musical.
