The birthday is a very happy event for people around the world. It’s a day when they get together with family and friends to celebrate, and it’s all about them. They get to enjoy gifts, fun times, and perhaps a piece of cake.
This isn’t something that is only limited to people you may rub elbows with every day, even celebrities enjoy celebrating their birthdays. Recently, Jim Carrey celebrated his 62nd birthday, and he did it with a lot of flare.
He was in West Hollywood with friends and those who are also associated with him in comedy. For example, Adam Sandler attended the party with him as did David Spade.
When you look at the picture from the birthday party, you see that there are plenty of people who are very funny in attendance. Who can you spot in the picture?
59-year-old David Spade went on social media to talk about the birthday and post some pictures. The picture he posted was called ”The Laugh Supper” and Jeffrey Ross took it.
He wrote: “Happy birthday to Jim Carrey who has made me laugh on and off the field so many times. Such a cool dude. I rarely bust out the cake emoji but i will today.”
Ross also wrote: “The Laugh Supper ! Happy birthday Jim Carrey! We love you!”
One of the pictures even had a resemblance to Leonardo da Vinci’s image, The Last Supper. Perhaps he felt the need to do this because he played in the movie, Bruce Almighty.
The comments were full of those who wished they could be there and loved the humor of it all.
Jim Carrey also talked about stepping away from his acting career and even discussed retirement. He said: “Well, I’m retiring – yeah, probably – I’m being fairly serious.
“It depends. If the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road, but I’m taking a break.”
He then went on to reflect on the situation and his life in general and said that he felt content with what he has done creatively.
He said: “I feel like – and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough. I’ve done enough. I am enough.”
