Jennifer Garner Is Mourning The Loss Of Her ‘Angel Girl’

Losing someone that is close to us is always difficult. Jennifer Garner is feeling this loss, after losing a member of her family.

Jennifer Garner is mourning the death of her dog, Birdie, who died just a day before Thanksgiving. She went on Instagram to share the emotional news with her followers, calling her beloved pup the ‘world’s best dog.’

She wrote: “It is hard to know how to write this— it seems nuts, given the world, to mourn a pet, but since we have shared Birdie with all of you, it only seems fair to let you know of her passing.”

She went on to say how Birdie had fallen ill and they took the dog to the vet, only to learn that Birdie was at the end of his life.

Although it was a very difficult thing, she was appreciative that Birdie seemed to wait until her children were home. It allowed them to spend the final moments together.

In many homes, the dog is more than a pet, they are a family member. That is how Jennifer felt about Birdie, who often appeared in her Pretend Cooking Show on Instagram.

She said: “She lived a happy dog life and is now in the role she was born to play: angel girl. It’s a gift to love and be loved by such a creature as Birdie the Doggie. 🐾🪽 .”

Many followers could feel how she felt, and plenty of condolences came from both friends and families, as well as other celebrities.

Jennifer decided to turn this into something good, so she got together with Ben Affleck, her ex-husband, and her children to volunteer at the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving day.

They served some 2000 homeless and near-homeless people at the Thanksgiving brunch held by the nonprofit.

It is difficult to lose someone so close to you, and we wish her and her family much comfort during this difficult time.
