Jennifer Garner Is Mourning The Loss Of A Friend To The LA Fires

If there’s one thing that we’ve learned from the Los Angeles fires, it’s the fact that celebrities are not immune to the effects of natural disasters. It’s unfortunate, and sometimes it can affect them on a very personal level.

Jennifer Garner has been dealing with serious difficulties as a result of the fire and now she is grieving because of the loss of a friend who died as a result of the fire. She revealed this in an emotional interview, saying that she lost a friend in the California wildfires.

Garner is somebody who doesn’t mind rolling up her sleeves and helping when the need calls for it. As the fires continue to rage, she has partnered with chefs to help support communities that have been impacted by the disaster.

She said: “I did lose a friend who did not get out in time. It’s just — my heart bleeds for my friends. I mean, I can think of 100 families, and there are 5,000 homes lost.”

She also speaks about her personal safety despite being near the fires. She says that she almost feels guilty walking through her house. She’s just looking for a way to help.

Garner also reflected on her loss, saying: “I’m looking at the chimney of somebody that I loved. […] It’s awful — kind of unimaginable.”

In order to help those in need, Gardner is working along with World Central Kitchen, an organization owned by chef José Andres. She said: “I took advantage of a little bit of celebrity privilege and called Chef and said, ‘Please, can I come with you?'”

Along with working with the chef, she is working with the Save the Children organization and the Red Cross to ensure that families have shelter.

We wish Garner and all those who are trying to assist with much success.
