When most of us think about Jeff Daniels, the first thing that comes to our mind is his ability as an actor. Regardless of whether we are thinking about his comedic timing on the movie, Dumb and Dumber or if we are thinking about some of his career performances that won him Golden Globes and Emmy awards, it is amazing to consider.
Like many people, however, Jeff Daniels is not only somebody who has a single talent but he has hidden talents as well. One of those hidden talents was displayed on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
As it turns out, Jeff Daniels is more than a talented actor, he also likes to write music as well. When he brought out his guitar on the Kelly Clarkson show, he introduced a song by saying it was a love song to his guitar.
More specifically, he said that it is about times when ‘you’re sitting out on the front porch with just your best friend the guitar’. He then sang an original song, When My Fingers Find Your Strings.
To say that Kelly Clarkson was surprised would be an understatement. She was taken away by the beauty of the song and was even asking the audience what was happening. By the time it was over, both Jeff and Kelly Clarkson were in tears.
