There may be many times when we make decisions in life that are not necessarily on par with what others would do. These are personal decisions but that doesn’t mean that others aren’t going to share their opinions.
Recently, a popular social media star, Taylor Paige Courtenay, from South Devon has been making waves saying that she is being judged by the older generation. She is covered with tattoos, and regularly shares videos with her 320,000 followers.
Her videos on TikTok not only show the tattoos and usually a lot of her, but they also address some negative reactions that other people may throw in her direction. For example, she titled one video: “Your tattoos are not going to look good when you hit 60.”

She then adds: “I wish they’d keep their opinions to themselves.”
Taylor covers her tattoos with a baggie jumper in another video before removing the jumper to reveal all of them. She said: “Karen will say I ruined myself.”
@txypc why’s it always the over 60s that say this
In another one of her videos, she wrote: “26 and coming to terms with the fact that I’ll never be ‘that girl’. I’ll never be the girl they take home to their parents, I’ll never be the girl they talk about with their friends, I’ll never be the girl to be invited round for dinner, I’ll never be the girl they show off.
“I’ll always be the temporary fix, I’ll be the girl they use to pass the time, I’ll always be the girl that’s hidden.”
