It seems as if many celebrities and those who are in the know have been stricken with a variety of diseases lately. Some of those diseases are quite serious, and that is what Ann Wilson from the Rock Band, Heart has now announced.
Wilson, who is known for taking part in creating some of the most iconic rock songs of all time, including Barracuda and These Dreams, is sharing the news on social media. In the message, we learned that she had an operation and when they removed whatever they were going after, they found out it was cancerous.
At this point, they advised Wilson to undergo preventative chemotherapy. She isn’t out of the game as far as her music is concerned but she won’t be able to perform in any shows this year.
Many of Heart’s fans are disappointed but they are also understanding when it comes to Ann needing to take care of her health. In addition, she does promise that she will be back on the road as soon as possible, claiming, “I have much more to sing.”
