Gypsy Rose Blanchard Files For Restraining Order And Demands Spousal Support From Husband Ryan Anderson

The world became interested in Gypsy Rose Blanchard after she killed her mother. With all the details that came out in the trial, it kept people interested for quite some time.

While she was in prison, she married her husband, Ryan Anderson but shortly after she was released, she filed a restraining order against him. She then decided that the one-year marriage to Anderson would be dissolved after being released.

The restraining order comes on the heels of Blanchard filing for a divorce from Anderson. According to the court records, she is in need and the defendant has the ability to pay. She also said that she is not at fault for the dissolution of the marriage and wants any request for spousal support to Ryan to be denied.

Blanchard went on a private Facebook group to announce that she was separating from her husband. This was confirmed by the clerk of court, saying that the filing had been sent to the judge for review and to schedule any hearing dates if necessary.

It was only three months after she was freed from the Missouri jail that she and her husband were separated. She had spent over eight years in that prison for killing her mother with her boyfriend at the time.

“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou,” Blanchard wrote on Facebook on 28 March, adding “I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”

Blanchard and Anderson had met in 2020 after he sent her letters in prison. He said that they had similar upbringings and she was motivated to write back. Part of it had to do with the fact that he was originally from Louisiana and so was she. They became friends that eventually got married.

Even though they had been married for over a year, she felt that they were newly married after being released because they were getting to know each other. She even said that she had told him to put the toilet seat down several times after they were first married.

Now that the news is out about the restraining order and the request for support, many people are not very happy about it. There are plenty of negative comments, including some saying that she is a chip off the old block.
