Gymnasts Defy Gravity To Thrill The Crowd With Amazing ‘Sound Of Silence’ Routine

It is always enjoyable to watch sporting events, especially when the people who are playing are very skilled. Gymnastics is one sporting event that captures the attention of many because when it is good, it is great.

In 2017, there was one particular gymnastics routine that took the world by surprise. It happened at the 2017 USA Gymnastics Championships, and Emily Davis and Aubrey Rosilier were up to the challenge.

As far as athletes are concerned, they have a level of talent that is not always seen among those who perform such precise routines. The competition undoubtedly looked on with awe as they took the floor.

One routine that really stood out was when they did their gymnastics to the Disturbed rendition of ‘Sound of Silence.’ It was breathtaking and they did things on the floor that seemed impossible.

This type of aerobic gymnastics, known as acrogymnastics combines aerobics, traditional gymnastics, and dance into a single routine that allows for a lot of artistic expression. The gymnasts usually perform in pairs or larger groups, allowing them to lift, throw, and balance in many different ways.

As you watch the routine in the video we have for you below, you can’t help but notice the amount of physical strength and agility that is necessary to perform such a routine. That is especially true in this case because they have to balance everything at the same time.

Emily and Aubrey were ready to perform for the audience and when they did, you could’ve heard a pin drop. Every motion and every lift was timed perfectly to the song, which was an excellent choice.

Quite honestly, this is a performance you have to see to understand. We have it for you below in the following video:
