Greenland Fires Back At Trump With A Brutal 10-Word Response

Donald Trump has signed a number of executive orders and aside from that, he has put things in place to expand the United States in ways that most people had not considered. One of these is by offering the ‘incredible people’ of Greenland the opportunity to join the US.

According to Donald Trump, he is going to take Greenland ‘one way or the other’ and then went on to say that the people who live in Greenland are ‘incredible’. When addressing Congress on March 4, he also said that Vladimir Putin is giving ‘strong signals’ for peace to the United States.

He went on to talk about receiving a letter from the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the current war between Russia and Ukraine.

In the speech he provided to Congress which was broadcast live on TV, he gave a message to the people in Greenland. He said: “If you choose, we welcome you into the United States of America.

“We need Greenland for national security and even international security.

“And we’re working with everybody involved to try and get it. But we need it really for international world security.”

Even though he seemed to offer the Greenland population the opportunity to determine what their own future would be, he went on to say: “And I think we’re going to get it – one way or the other, we’re going to get it.”

At the conclusion of this speech, he spoke to the people of Greenland. He said: “We will keep you safe. We will make you rich. And together, we will take Greenland to heights like you have never thought possible before.

“It’s a very small population but very, very large piece of land and very, very important for military security.”

Greenland Prime Minister, Mute Egede has since given a comment to Trump. It was short and sweet. He said: “We do not wish to be Americans. Greenland is ours.”

He then went on to say: “We do not want to be Americans, nor Danes, we are Greenlanders.

“The Americans and their leaders must understand that. We are not for sale and cannot just be taken. Our future is decided by us in Greenland.”

Trump spoke to the press in January after having a ‘fiery’ conversation with the Prime Minister of Denmark. He said: “I think we’re going to have it. I think the people want to be with us.

“I don’t really know what claim Denmark has to it, but it would be a very unfriendly act if they didn’t allow that to happen because it’s for the protection of the free world.

“I think Greenland, we’ll get because it has to do with freedom of the world.

“It has nothing to do with the United States other than that we’re the one that can provide the freedom. They can’t.”
