When an individual is about to become a grandparent for the first time, it’s happy news. Sometimes, it can even make the new grandparent emotional, and it seems as if that is happening to Eminem.
On Thursday, October 3, the 51-year-old rapper announced that his daughter, Hailie Jade is going to have a baby. This wasn’t a regular baby announcement, but the news was revealed as part of the new music video.
In the emotional music video, you can see a number of clips put together that show the moments that took place during the father and daughter’s lives. This included when he attended the wedding of her and her husband, Evan McClintock.
The video continues to go on until the big news is revealed when his daughter tells him that he is going to be a grandfather.
In the video, she hands her father a blue jersey that has the word ‘GRANDPA’ and the number 1 on the back. You can tell that Eminem is in shock as his mouth drops open and he holds up a sonogram picture to show the camera.
At one point in the video, however, fans are talking about the moment that his bottom lip began to quiver. When he was reading a card from his daughter on her wedding day he was getting emotional.
Many of the fans said that they couldn’t believe that he was breaking down at that moment. It was the first time that they ever saw him cry and many of them were crying along with him.
The comments went on to congratulate him for his success as a parent and look forward to him being a grandparent.
