Elon Musk Opens Up About ‘Assassination’ Fear As He Tries To Clean Up The Budget

When Donald Trump came into office for his second term, one of the first things he did was to fire up the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). He then appointed Elon Musk as the head of the temporary organization, which led to some issues.

One of the problems that it has caused is with Elon Musk directly. The billionaire is now afraid that people may attempt to assassinate him because they hear his name a lot.

The organization is set up to get a grip on federal spending. It has promised to put a dent in the national debt, which is sitting at just over $36 trillion. There are also plans to help taxpayers by giving them some money back.

In the first 42 days that DOGE has been in place, some federal contracts have been canceled, agencies have been dissolved, and independent research contracts have been slashed at the Department of Education.

At the same time, Musk says that his purpose as the leader of the organization and a senior advisor to Trump is to ‘uncover corruption’ in the United States. As he has also said, he is looking to provide ‘maximum transparency’ to the common sense approach of the organization for saving money.

Recently, Musk appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast and he admitted that involvement in the US government is the ‘most absurd outcome’ he could have ever thought of for his career. They chatted for about three hours, and then Rogan asked him if he would crackdown on corruption and insider trading.

Musk said: “This is really going to get me assassinated. It’s like I’m not lengthening my lifespan by explaining this stuff say the least.

“I was supposed to go back to DC. How am I going to survive?”

Musk went on to admit that he must be careful and ‘not push too hard’ on the corruption issues. The reason? He thinks that it might get him killed.

He admitted that people get desperate and even talked about two men who had traveled to Austin with the hopes of killing him. He said: “Two separate incidents. One thought I’d put a chip in his head.

“And, I mean, they’re both basically two guys that just very much had severe mental illness… This is before the severe propaganda wave, the probability that any given homicidal maniac is going to try to kill you is proportionate to how many times they hear your name.

“And so they heard my name a lot. So I just got to the top of the list of two homicidal maniacs who were arrested, and both were in Travis County jail at the same time.”

Since that time, both men have been released according to Musk. He said they were tagged with electronic devices so their location could be tracked.

Musk then added: “And at this point, I think I’m at the top of the list for a lot of homicidal maniacs.”
