He placed a bet on the outcome of the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. Paul, who was at one time a YouTuber, stepped into the ring in Arlington, Texas after squabbling back and forth with Tyson for about a year.
At the end of eight rounds, Paul came out as the victor with the unanimous decision. Many people were calling it the worst fight in history, but whether you like it or not, there were definite winners and losers that evening.
Of course, Tyson came out on the losing end of the fight but Drake was assuming that Tyson would be the winner. In order to prove the fact that he believed it, he bet $355,000 on Tyson to win.
It’s not uncommon for Drake to make bets on sporting events, regardless of whether it is baseball or UFC but there is a curse involved. If you see Drake betting on someone, you better bet on their opponent because it seems as if Drake is always losing.
There may be some debate as to whether Drake was responsible for Tyson losing the fight or not, but in the end, he did come out on the losing end.
Many people on social media were quick to point out that they have never seen him when a bet and how he can’t catch a break this year.
Of course, Drake wasn’t the only one who lost in this particular fight. Some people paid up to $2 million for VIP tickets, and according to the comments about how boring the fight was, they may have come out on the losing end as well.
