Dolly Parton Joins Pink, Pat Benatar, Sheryl Crow, Annie Lennox, And Rob Halford For The Perfect ‘Jolene’ Cover
There have been many great country music songs over the decades, but Dolly Parton sang the one that many of us consider at the top of the list. Her song, Jolene, will always be a favorite.
Since first recording Jolene, Dolly Parton has had a lot of years to continue to perform it. It has also been covered by many others, but recently we had an opportunity to see Dolly Parton with a handful of other famous singers performing it together.
Dolly Parton stood on the stage with Pink, and it was obvious to see that Pink was absolutely thrilled to be there with the country music star. It wasn’t long before Annie Lennox was there to take the next verse, and the big names just kept showing up.
Suddenly, Simon Le Bonn from Duran, Duran was there, followed by Pat Benatar and Rob Halford.
Not only was this a big hit with the crowd that was watching it in person, it was uploaded to YouTube and the live cut has been viewed more than 1.1 million times. People can’t stop talking about how amazing the song is, and how amazing Dolly Parton is.
